| So the job that has been keeping me from what I've wanted to do this fall.... I am leaving.
They play good but it is not worth the stress. I rather be making less at Disney but be happy. So I am going back to Disney world Entertainment fulltime. I am actualyl excited. Until I leave my current Job I will be working fulltime hours as a part time employee. Next week I am registering for sofelx 2007. I can drive there. I just had my car fixed so it is in good shape. I need to get the serpentine belt fixed but it's only $100.00.
I am okay.
I went swing dancing with Sue this weekend. Fun. We step aside for a few songs each dance and trade phrases, work on charelston and come up with new moves. The is going to be a "battle of the swing cities" in tampa 2007. which should be exciting and interestign at the same time.
I have been saying for the last 2 years that I wanted to travel more. But things keep commng up or holding me back. Dancing is my passion. Things are starting to straighten themselves out.
I will be back at Disney full time so I will have guaranteed 40 hours a week. Doing a job I love. I will have benefits.
I found a church that I really enjoy. I think I may ask Sue if I can go to church with her on wednesdays. I miss having time to worship and discuss. The church I go to is so big that I feel overwhelmed sometimes.
I also just founf out that the reason I haven't seen Amy- is becasuse she moved to Nashville and didn't tell us.lol. I knew she was movign I just didn't know when. I want to go!!!- HEHE. just another reason for me to visit. I wis there was a break between my current job and when I go to Disney. There isn't but that would be key travel time. begining december. I guess I will have to be okay with seeing people i nJanuary. I am not missing it this year. Sue and I were going to drive down but then we both ended up having to work. NOT THIS YEAR. Training won't start for anything until march or april so I think I am safe.
Sue and I are both single. Sue and I are both smart, I think relativley attractive people and yet.... Mr. Right can't be found. So we have decided we are going to hang out and dance and not worry about it. One day he will fidn us. ::sigh:: dance, disney, internal meditation, church, music, family and friends. | I have moved into "Apartment the Musical©" and life is a stage. Who knew there was actually a place where people actually , in real life, spontaneously broke out into song and dance. I think it is contageious. I do like to dance when I am down,.... but I am not that good a singer so that doesn't happen very often. The apartment itself is Brilliant. I get my own room and bathroom and there is even a guest bedroom incase peopel come to visit. Blondie just had some friends from New York come and it was liek a hoem away from home for them. This would be good for any exchanges or dance functiosn in town but I think most of that would happen by the colelge and I am about 35-45 minutes away from there. ::sigh:: well I am close to other things. 2 minutes from Universal and 20 minutes from Disney. I was hired for a new job the last weekend of September. I love this job becasue 90% of the people I work with are from the UK. My home away from home. I make more here than I have made at any other job but the downside is I work Weekends. I ususally have 3 days of in the middle of the week where I go work at my other job-if need be. But I do work weekends. And I can't request any off until after the holidays. I will be asking off for soflex 2007 since the dates are up. and any other key weekends that coem to mind. I have been saying for 2 years that i HAVE WANTED TO TRAVEL MORE.........AND I will or die trying... I could always drive. but gas prices are through te roof. Well I take that back. Gas has been goign gown. on my way hoem I saw 2:16 per gallon at the Hess. Last thing. -I am in clue. We have a possiblity of doing the production for 6 months. If possible before the end of the runs I would liek to do Ms. White or Yvette. We'll see. I don't mind playing a guy- (MR. Boddy, and killer).. - I just don't like having to do some "costume modifications," We have other shows that are a possiblity for next year that are very exciting so we'll see how this goes. | So I have a bck up plan. Everyhtign seems like it will work out okay i nthe end. I won't be at the house of Random. We told the lanlord we weren't renewing the lease and I'll be closer to Disney and Universal. I am looking to other jobs in the area as it seems that the Summer Bay travel agent/reservations office may be moving again,.. farther waay than it alreayy is,.. Towards the longwood area..
I am looking at Valencia and their Sign language Interpretation program. I would like to finish that degree. I would have to take the signing classes all over again though. I hardly remember anything. I have friends from Swing, Matt, Johnny, and Kim, that Sign so They would be good practice. I t seems that when we are at dances that is how we ask eachother how the other is doing How their week as been and even,.. "Would you like to dance." I would lie kto answer but I am so out of practice it is makes me want to just sit down with a book and start teaching myself. - I have my tapes from my old classes somewhere. I should start brushing up myself why wait?
I know what I am doing later.-oh wait I have Clue rehersal tonight. okay. well. I guess that is that. I'll have to do it some other time.

| Labor day weekend actually was alot of fun
THURSDAY- a group of us went to Karaoke at Smokke Tavern. Bart, Dalles, Blondie, Lizzy, Stout, Annie, Tyler, Craig, and oh yeah me. The regualrs were there too. Hawk, EJ and their group. I t is reallt smoky at this place but hey havea musical section so we love it. Some of the songs/artist of the evening included:Adam Sandler, Queen- Bohemium Rapsody, Moulin Rouge- Come what May, Rent- Light my Candle, Rent, and Seasons of Love, Pantom of the Opera, Ace Of Base, Spice Girls, Jewle, Evenecense, and there were soem others but they aren't comming to me now. either way it was a fun filled evening.
Friday- I meet up with Sue and Kim at their place before the swing dance. We hung out for about an hour and while they were getting ready I looked at some pin up book and we did comentaty on the MTV show Next...... that show is crazy. The people ar funny. I think that would be a fun show to be a camera man for.
We then drove to the dance and sue and I worked on charleston for most of the night. We have come to the conclusion that we enjoy when the other person is there becsue then we can bounce ideas, moves and anythign else off each other. I can show Sue a move and she can try it out add somethign to it or give me a variation of it. I love that. We fell like we can grow and learn from each other wich totally rocks. I enjoy having sue for a friend. I feel really comfortable with her and I trust her as a friend.
There was a "band" at the dance. They weren't really a band. Some of us were kind of disapointed. Last tiem there was a bad they had drums, trupets, sax's, guitars, upright bass, the works,. they were a band. Not this time. there was a trumpet, a sax, a woman who sang, and they had a box which had recordings of the rest of the instuments playing the whole songs- including when the other instuments , liek drums, had solos. They were ok. but not exciting, nothign that really made me want to dance wo gave me the drive that I ususally get with a full band,. so they were king od dissapointing. Who knows there may have been a full band and then they were double booked so this was their back up plan.?
Saturday-What would you say to a day in St. Augustine. It was lots of fun. We went to the Fort and saw a reinaction of them shooting off cannons. We even went to a resturant where you feed wild catfish. They were swimming on top of each other to get the food we were throwing down to them. Crazy
Sunday-I woke up to a message on my phone saying from Megan that she was at Dragon Con and there was a guy with 4 zombies doing Thriller and they didn't really do the dance and we were better,... that she said was the good news.... the bad news was that we didn't get the apartment.....................after that I decided I had some thinking to do as a back up plan.. seeing as I really didn't have one. Orlando is expensive - to expensive for one to get a place by themselves. I know people that pay 1000.00 a month
I got ready and went to church. It was a good service. The message Was Romans 8:28 I think. The day was even better becasue that night I was able to use what I learned and apply it in everyday life. - No I can't share
After church I went with Bart to see a movie- The Wicker Man. It was okay. I would of done somethigns different. I wouldn't see it again,. I didn't like the end. I mean It's good to see that movies don't end happy all the time. But in my world they usually do -I work at Disney. So that made the movie I guess, more realistic.
After that I went to Rocky Rehersal. We have alot of new people joining the theater troupe which is kind of exciting. I got there just as time warp was starting and jumped in as Columbia. Dalles is learning Frank Bri was teaching a new person Magenta Blocking, Stout and Cross were both learning Riff -Raff and Ryan was Brad-ing. We got to pick apart certian scens, like Floorshow and that was good for the newbies. Brusing up on basics is never a waste.
Bowling was the close of the evening. We hada fun night off all you can bowl at the alley for $13.00 from 9-midnight. It was great. we also, for that price, got discounted drinks, popcorn and hotdogs for 50 cents each. I bowled pretty good. Over 100 each time. I got up to 150 somethign one time. I would liek to get better and maybe join a leauge. They have that deal every sunday aparently and so our group has decided that we should go again one day. Our Director was the one who really came back. firstgame we decided it wouldn't count becasue it was a warm up round and we needed to warm up the arms. Second game was okay. third and fourth he won. I wanted to give him a run for his money but Alcohol will make you lose your form. It was all in good fun. Hopefully we'll be able to bowl agai nand I can increase my strength in my arm so I can bowl better.

| The Original MTV SHOW NEXT: and an new twist
Okay so MTV has this show called next. there is one guy or girl and then they have a bus full of 5 peopel who want to go out on a date with them. The main person starts one at a time on a date but then if something goes wrong, they don't like the persons look. or attitude, or anything- they can say NEXT and pul lthe next person from the bus. Even if the people don't liek the partner,.. they don't want to be next-ed becasue the longer they stay the more money they get. they get a dollar for every minute they are with the person. and then at the end of the show they can choose a second date or the money
Friday before Swing I went over to Sue and Kim's and they Kim was watching Next.. I was like .. humm interesting
tonight They have a gay episode on. Not all episodes are gay,.. This one just is.
The first guy stepped off the bus and the main guy said "Next" thats' ehrn the words started flying. they were cutting each other down so fast it was scarey. After the first guy left he said
"We were so instantly angry with each other that we probably would of been great in Bed"
The main guy has this rennisance thing going on- the second guy had to do a sword fight and got nexted
I was lost after that but the last guy had alot in common with the main person but hs smoked. He went through all 5 guys. His ending for his segment was "5 dates and my hair still looks fabulous"
It scares me that this is what dating is in the 21st century

I was thinking if they did this at churches,.. for singles,.. how it would be different.
I don't know if anyoen would watch it.
I agree with Bart- it's the mean personalities of people and crazy stunts and routines that they make each other do that make the show interesting.
Church based next would have to have fu nand intersting people to make peopel watch. they'd have to have interesting conversations sky diving.
